What is included in the rent?
The rent includes, unless otherwise indicated, all service charges for gas, water and electricity as well as the use of common areas like kitchen, living room, garden, terrace, etc.

How much is the rent in a host family, a shared flat or a hostel?
The rents for a furnished single room in a host family, shared flat or hostel are between 250 - 450 USD or 200 - 350 Euro per month. They are highly dependent on location and equipment of the property.

How much is the rent for an apartment or a flat?
The rent for a furnished apartment or flat also varies greatly depending on location and equipment. In good neighborhoods in Santiago like Providencia or Las Condes the prices for a one to two bedroom apartment are between 350 - 750 USD or 250 - 550 Euro. In addition, there are the service charges for gas, water and electricity which vary from 35 - 50 USD or 25 - 35 Euro. Additional costs are the so-called "gastos comunes", which include the maintenance, cleaning and security of the building and the maintenance of community facilities (pool, lobby, gym, etc.). The "gastos comunes" vary from 30 - 110 USD or 20 - 80 Euro.

How much is the rent for a hotel room or a holiday house?
The prices for a hotel room usually start at 45 USD or 35 Euro per person per night. For a whole month, prices start at 1250 USD or 900 Euro per month. For a holiday house prices are in the same area. Of course, the location and equipment have a crucial influence on the price.

How does the payment of the rent work?
The rent is paid directly to the landlord. Thus we assure you that we collect no additional fees except the placement fee. The rent is always paid at the beginning of each new month from the date of your arrival.

When is the placement fee due?
You have the opportunity at any time, without obligation, to see one or more accommodation offers. The placement fee is only payable if you accept a binding offer of accommodation. The fee has to be paid only once.
