So you can plan and prepare your journey thoroughly, it is recommended to apply 3 to 6 months before your departure. If you cannot wait to go to Chile, the preparation phase can be shortened. Generally, there are no deadlines.

Are internships in Chile paid?
In Chile, it is not usual that trainees receive a salary. Larger companies usually bear only the cost of lunch and transportation. However, we have contacts with various companies that offer payment. Where possible, of course, we try to place you in those companies first. The low cost of living in Chile, however, compensates for the unpaid or low wages.
Moreover, the experiences and impressions that you can gain during your internship in Chile, you cannot buy with money and are far more valuable than any trainee salary.

Is a certain training period or a specific date required?
No, you can determine the duration and the date of your internship yourself. However, it is recommended to spend a minimum period of two months, so you can familiarize yourself and get to know the Chilean working culture.
