Internship | General Information

Area / Sector
Thanks to our excellent contacts in Chile, we are able to arrange internships in almost all industries. We maintain contacts with renowned international companies, with major Chilean companies, with medium-sized companies as well as with private and public institutions. Simply tell us in our registration form your exact placement request.

Salary
In Chile and South America it is not usual that trainees receive a salary. Larger companies usually only bear the cost for lunch and transfer. However, we have contacts with various companies that offer payment. Where possible, we will arrange a placement in these companies first.
The low cost of living in Chile compensates for the unpaid or low wages. Moreover, the experiences and impressions that you can gain during your internship in Chile, you cannot buy with money and are far more valuable than any trainee salary.

Duration and time
You can determine the duration and the date of your internship yourself. However, it is recommended to spend a minimum period of two months, so you can familiarize yourself and get to know the Chilean working culture.

Spanish knowledge
The nature of your internship will determine the level of knowledge of Spanish that is necessary. You do not speak Spanish or very little? No problem. In our chosen Spanish schools you will gain the required Spanish knowledge in a few weeks before starting your internship. For beginners, a minimum course duration of 6-8 weeks is recommended. We are happy to arrange a language course at a location of your choice. With us, you pay the original price of the respective school. Thus, you will face no extra cost!
